Track Side Entries will be accepted until the start of practice on the day of the event and cost $10 extra per class. 

Director has the right to refuse entry to any rider

Eligibility

FSR MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED TO RACE.

Rider must be age and skill appropriate for the class he/she is entering. 

3-5 riders are required to make a class. FSR reserves the right to combine classes if there are not enough riders to make a class. 

Riders must have correct safety gear, including but not limited to long sleeve jerseys, helmets, boots and goggles. 

Riders and parents must attend riders meetings. 

In the event of an age protest Birth certificate (original certified copy) or PassPort must be presented within 7 days upon request from all participants. 

Parents or Guardian must sign all releases and remain at the race track with the minor participant all day. Parents or Guardian must present a valid driver’s license or photo id upon request. Age is based on January 1st 

RACING NUMBERS:

Pre-registered riders have race number preference( first come first serve basis ) Track side registration numbers are on a first come first served basis. Riders must have a number on all three plates 

CLASS SPECIFICATIONS:

RACE DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADVANCE ANY RIDER AT ANY TIME TO A HIGHER CLASSIFICATION 

STARTER /FIRST TIMER CLASS:

Is for first time racers and is geared towards riders developing new racing skills. It’s suggested that riders entering these classes move to the beginner class after they score three wins. Rider exemption may be given based on age or skill of the rider at the time of the event. 

NO SERIES POINTS ARE COLLECTED FOR FIRST TIMER CLASSES.

The Cost for a request for exemption review shall be $25 

BEGINNER CLASS: 

Reserved for riders with less than 6 months racing experience in this class. It is recommended that Riders scoring two or more (championships) should consider advancing to age group classes. Riders exemption may be given by race directors based on age or riders skill level at the time of the event. This class is consider open with limited modifications . Any 20v battery allowed no high impact batteries. Aftermarket handbrakes, footrest, Bar risers are allowed sprocket size open.

STACYC STOCK LIMITED CLASSES

stock drive-train required on both 12 inch and 16 inch cycles. Brush-less motors permitted on 16 inch Stacyc only. Must use stock sprocket size 12 inch bikes (9 tooth) 16 inch bikes (10 tooth). “Max size allowed 11T on both bikes ” (stacyc standards only) order through stacyc.com or other dealers

No Aftermarket Controllers Permitted. Stacycs must have an operating brake system. Aftermarket wheel bearings, disk brakes, handlebars, grips, levers, tires, chains,seats, Any battery of (20v 5Ah) will be permitted. Anyone caught with batteries larger then (20v 5AH) or high impacted batteries will be Disqualified from days events (and or future events ) and lose points for that class. “NO EXCEPTION” There will be random sprocket and batteries checks per event. 

STACYC BIKES ONLY

E-bikes enter into these classes that are not stacyc’s Designed bikes will be move to an Open class or E-bike class and/or a class will be designed

E-BIKE/STACYC OPEN CLASS

All E-Bike models allowed. Modifications are allowed.. This includes, sprockets, controllers, disc brakes, wheel bearings, brush-less motors, gearboxes, grips, levers, tires, chains,seats, foot rests are permitted.

 This is an Open Class High Voltage Batteries (over 21 volts (I.e lipo batteries and aftermarket batteries) allowed.

Suspension is permitted as well as any other engine or chassis modification. All Open Bikes must conform to 12 inch or 16 inch wheel size. This Class is recommended for experienced level racers

Rider exemptions may be given by race directors based on age or riders skill level at the time of the event. 

MODDED CLASS:

Stacyc Bikes Only

This is an Modded Class ‘High Voltage Batteries’ (over 21 volts (I.e lipo batteries and aftermarket batteries) modifications are not permitted.

Sprockets, disc brakes, wheel bearings, brush-less motors, gearboxes, grips, levers, tires, chains,seats, foot rests are permitted.

All Sprocket Sizes Allowed

Suspension is permitted as well as any other chassis modification. All Modded Bikes must conform to 12 inch or 16 inch wheel size. This Class is recommended for experienced level racers

E-BIKE CLASSIFICATIONS AND BIKES PERMITTED:

Stacyc/E-Bike - Class 1, Class 2, Class 3. The top speeds of them are different. The top speed of Class 1, Class 2 electric bikes is 20 mph (32km/h), while the top speed of Class 3 electric bikes is 28 mph (45 km/h). 

Effective 4/01/2023 batteries exceeding 21 volts will be permitted in Stacyc open classes only if enough riders enter to split voltage’s. Then High Voltage batteries will only be permitted in special designed classes when available and offered

Electric Motorcycles – A Class 4 Electric Motorcycle is defined as a two-wheeled vehicle with an electric drive system activated with a throttle, propelled solely by a motor powered by stored electricity from a battery pack. These bikes exceed 750W. not permitted in Stacyc classes these are consider Mico-E

100w-1500w Max allowed.

48v-72v Max Allowed.

GENERAL RACING RULES

* Pushing riders off the start line in All classes or Stacyc classes is strictly forbidden! All riders crew must be completely off the start gates when the 15 second board is raised. Penalty for violation of these rules is disqualification from that race. 

  1. All bikes must have visible numbers and number plate

  2. All racers should have backup batteries

  3. Race Format is relative to specific race event (see F.S.R racing in menu) 

  4. Age as of Jan-1 

  5. Riders must race in his / her designated age/ skill category, there is no moving to an older or younger age group. Age is based on riders age as of Jan 1st of the current year. If said rider wants to race in a class outside of his group he is eligible to race in the open class.

  6. Helmets and shoes are required . Riders must always wear proper protective equipment, such as an approved and properly fitted safety helmet (with chin strap securely buckled) and shoes (with enclosed toe and heel that cover the entire foot). 

  7. F.S.R. strongly suggests STACYC foot rests. 

  8. Shoelaces must be tied and out of the way of the wheels, motor and drive system. No riding barefooted or in sandals. 

  9. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are required. Gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, and eye protection are recommended. 

  10. 12 inch cycles are permitted to race in 16 inch class but 16 inch cycles are not permitted to race in 12 inch classes.Some races may have multiple divisions and awards will be issued to top 3-5 finishers in each division. (when divisional are given) 

Effective 6/1/2023 NO LIPO or any batteries exceeding 21 volts will not be permitted in modified classes! High Voltage batteries will only be permitted in OPEN-MODIFIED classes. 

Sprocket protest fee will be $50.00 payable to the winning party. 

Pit Guideline

Follow all covid 19 guidelines. 

Trash must be disposed of in approved containers. 

Do not walk around or near heavy equipment. 

No open toe shoes or crutches allowed on the track. 

Drones are prohibited Unless given written/verbal permission from the event promoter. No dumping of fuel, motor oil, gray or black water. 

Pets must be on a leash or properly contained. 

respect the people around you, including but not limited to riders and their families, medical staff, FSR Officials and flaggers. Foul language and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Never cross the track while riders are on the track

Pick up all trash in the pit area and on the race track.. 

Drug and Alcohol Policy 

All riders, mechanics, parents and people associated with the rider must not consume intoxicants or drugs that could affect their normal mental or physical ability or cause them to become harmful to the event.performance enhancing drugs are not permitted ( penalty one year ban ) Riders protested must submit to a blood test (protest fee is $750) riders refusing to be examined will be disqualified from race. Anyone found in violation of these policies are subject to immediate disqualification from the event. 

Track Rules: 

Only riders officially entered are allowed on the race track. Any rider observed by an FSR Official, cutting the track to re-run section during practice will be given the last gate pick. Any rider intentionally stopping on the track without a mechanical problem will be given the last gate pick. 

No rider may ride in the wrong direction on the track

All repairs on the motorcycle must be done in the pit area. 

Riders going off the track must re-enter at the safest point possible without cutting off entire sections of

the track no cutting track during races . If a rider gains position or advantages while off the track he will be penalized. 

No rider may ride in a manner to endanger another rider. The penalty is disqualification. For Safety purposes Two way Helmet communication systems will not be permitted DURING PRACTICE/RACING between rider and mechanic / parent. 

STARTING LINE: 

Rider must be with his / her bike

Riders not at the start grid when called for staging will be given the last gate pick. Only one rider and one mechanic are allowed in the staging and starting area. 

Riders will be centered behind the gate grid. 

If too many riders fill the gate there will be a flag drop. (old ways) 

After a rider picks his/her gate position it cannot be changed. 

Tools to prep behind the gate are permitted. 

Prep is allowed a maximum of 10’ from the starting gate 

Bikes with mechanical issues before the start of the staged race will be ineligible to compete in that race. Start blocks permitted 

Flags

-White - last lap 

-Checkered – race is complete 

-Yellow – caution riders must reduce speed. No passing. Riders passing during the yellow flag are subject to position penalty. 

-Red Flag: Race is stopped 

If a red flag is given and half the assigned laps have been completed the race will be scored as complete. 

GATE PICK: 

Riders gate pick will be in the order register for each class MOTO 1 

Top 5 riders from MOTO 1 will get first gate pick MOTO 2 

RACE FORMAT: 

All Classes race two motos,and the scores from each moto are combined to determine the overall winner for the day. 

Points are awarded for each moto for series points. 

Points

Points are given to the top 5 riders of the class. At the end of the series, the points will be added together to see the top finisher of that class. Points are broken down by position finished in the race. classes race two motos, and the scores from each moto are combined to determine the overall winners in that series. 

Tie breakers will be decided by points. Final tie breaker will be determined by the best finish at the final round.

POINTS BREAK DOWN:

First place – 15 points 

Second place – 13 points 

Third place – 11 points 

Fourth place – 9 points 

Fifth place - 6 points 

Disqualifications

Falsifying age or ability. 

Offering bribes to officials. 

Any Physical or Verbal altercation with a FSR Official or other persons at the event. Refusal to submit to a mechanical inspection. 

Riding in an unsafe manner. 

Engaging in any unfair practice, behavior or action that is detrimental to the race Violent or aggressive behavior by rider or crew will not be tolerated and any physical or a verbal attack on another rider or crew will lead to immediate disqualification from the day’s event and potentially future events. 

PROTESTS

All protests must be made in writing to an FSR Official within 10 minutes of the finish of the race. 

MUST HAVE PROOF RIDER IS RACING OUT OF CLASS. 

$100 for starter and beginner classes eligibility. 

$100 for age protests 

$100 displacement protests 

$75 for Stacyc sprocket protest 

F.S.R will retain all fees paid. Fees payable by cash only. 

Winning party to receive 75% protest fees.
